Bhubaneswar City Knowledge Innovation Cluster Foundation (BCKIC), along with Academic Health Science Network, Yorkshire and Humber and KIIT-TBI organized a boot camp for innovators in healthcare space with an objective of assisting them to navigate and scale their healthtech business to the UK and the world.
Six companies from this cohort will be selected for a 5-day fully funded, bespoke program in the UK, where selected startups will get the opportunity to engage directly with the wider Health Tech ecosystem in the UK.

Startups Selected for UK NHS Immersion Program
3-Days UK India Healthtech Bootcamp
13th March – 15th March 2023
The top 25 Digital Health Startups were chosen for the bootcamp from over 148 applicants from across India. These startups were then actively mentored by a team of 5 members from AHSN Yorkshire-Humber. The major goal of this bootcamp was to bring together some of India’s most promising digital health entrepreneurs and provide them the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed.
Startups were exposed to a wide range of topics during the bootcamp, including market analysis, business strategy, product management, fund raising, and team building. They also had the opportunity to network with other startups, investors, and industry experts, which assisted them in developing key ties and partnerships.
UK NHS Immersion Program
8th October - 15th October 2023
Indian health tech innovators engaged with a diverse group of Experts of UK Experts over a week. Participants interacted with innovators, policy makers, scientist, industry leaders, academia, accelerators, funding partners & end consumers fostering platform for collaboration.
The meticulously curated meetings provided Indian startups with insights into the cutting edge innovation & research capabilities of the UK, paving the way for them to expand their business into UK market. The structured bootcamp followed by immersion program expresses potential collaborations & ventures emerging from these innovators setting up in the UK, marking a remarkable step forward in the field of health Tech with anticipated positive impacts for both the nations.
